Union accuses state government of illegal바카라ly appropriating more than $3.6 billion from the public purse for health care to the tune of $500 million from the province.
Health Minister Tracey Crouch said Wednesday afternoon that she's confident that the federal government will support efforts to improve access to health care by Quebec.
Quebec announced earlier this year that it would spend nearly $300 million to improve care for its more than 250,000 uninsured patients.
It says the money will be used to pay doctors, nurse practitioners and pharmacists directly, not through an arm of the federal government.
Federal politicians and Quebec's health minister have argued that the government should be spending the money, not just through an arm of the federal government.
